On Saturday, July 12th, we’ll be working across the street from Trails Café in the native garden. During these summer months, FoGP volunteers provide maintenance to native planted areas to ensure they get the necessary tools to survive – including removal of weeds and distribution of mulch which better holds the moisture.
However, keep in mind – on the weekends, parking in the Park is always a challenge; therefore if there’s no street parking, please check for a space at Parking Lot #9, located to the north of Trails Café.
FoGP supplies hand tools, work gloves, and water, but if you have your own work gloves and or water container, we urge you to bring these items with you. Please wear closed-toed shoes or boots, long pants, bring a hat, and make sure you slather on the sunscreen. Also, LA RAP requires FoGP to have a signed
Volunteer Agreement form for everyone working in the Park. Download and either return in person or email to Ross Arnold

And if you can’t make this event, but would like to stay in touch with the organization, like us on Facebook, and/or bookmark our
website.
